£50 for new brake pedal and rubber
Wicked idea, ride all winter with no back brake guess ill have to practice keeping the bike up right when i lock the front wheel or may be attatch a ski to the front forks
Muck wrote Bad? Far from it. Knackered? Not one jot. Digital? All the fucking way. Horrendous it is. I am seriously thinking of buying some new pads and soaking them in Teflon for a month before I put them on but somehow I still think they would grip like a 35 year old catholic having her first climax. The other thing is to have a bit of fun with the back end for a couple of weeks before the wet weather starts and then buy it some race rubber.
I did that last year/earlier this year on the basis of it not fucking working, the weather being too cold and wet and really not being arsed enough to sort it. Made a big positive difference to my riding style and corner speed, it did. Shagged my front brake pads a bit sharpish, mind. Winter braking - plan ahead and use the front. Much like Summer braking only with the addition of a few metres feathering.
You may have hit the nail on the head there - it's Christine, innit. It all comes clear now - only a burd could be that consistently stupid and hope to get away with it.
Heh, you could try attacking them with a sanding disk in the right way? I'm just going to bung a new set of MT35s on my CG.
Muck wrote So enlighten me, I am new to this market. What possible advantage would an MT35 have over the hard as nails Michelin M38 on the back and apparently even harder Continental TKP14 what is on the front?
