Rip off Britian returns

Did anyone else look at the Get Geared ( www.getgeared.co.uk) flyer in this
months "Bike" mag? I noticed thet they are part of the louis group, a big
German bike mail order chain, a look at their website www.louis.de shows
everything on the getgeared website at a lower price in euros, even allowing
for the postage!

When did it go away?

Many retailers seem to use the currency converter where
1 dollar = 1 euro = 1 sterling

Why not do as some friends do? Order from the .de website. However, if
everyone did this then we would have even fewer bike shops. You wouldn't
have anywhere to go to find the correct size for a start.
