Card, but I can't remember if it was credit or debit.

    That'll be a GPz9R then, if it was an '84. :)
If you think the GT stood up on the brakes, you should have tried your
    mate's bike. =8-0

  5. I'd check if I were you. Credit, you can get your money back. Debit, you
can't, as I'm sure you know.

(One reason why I use CCs for everything and don't use a debit card
ever, at all, no how, no way)[1]

[1] Mock my unconventional banking habits if you will....

I think Ducati UK said they would honour it, so I'm not really fussed.
Was only a hundred quid, anyway.
    You're a legend.
    Oh, and I will!

They're going to look after me. I spoke to them after Parky's went
skint. I'm going to give them another call and insist that I get the
    first one.

I think I posted this before

    http://www.kr-1s.net/main/specs/specs.htm

"So that's the KR-1S. Old, cheap, unreliable, barking mad engine,
mentally unstable handling and more fun than the other three bikes added
together. I'll have two, please. And a lobotomy."

From a Performance Bikes Magazine article comparing the KR-1S with an
    RGV250, NSR250 and RS250:

I thought they were more fun than an RD..ymmv.

    John Littler says...
My idea of fun is being able to spend far fewer hours fixing it than I
do riding it. That's why I stuck to Yamahas.

KR-1s and KR-1Ss sucked. Lovely concept blighted by design problems.

Ditto - except when abroad. My debit card doesn't charge for the
currency conversion, whereas both credit cards do. So hotel, food and
petrol bills go on the debit card.

The biggest pisser would be losing your place in the queue, did they say
    they'd honour that?
