  5. And you don't consider that adopting a convention accepted by everyone
else on this ng, simply because you disagree with it, may be irritating?

And that the fact that you do it deliberately, when you know it
    irritates, may be offensive?

Get your arguments sorted out, shitforbrains.

"Why" yet again top posted in reply to Donegal Paul
I never claimed to be intelligent did i? C'mon everyone, hands up who thinks
    I'm intelligent?
Not quite no, there's a certain amount of pleasure in those I'd say.
Top posting is just a pain in the arse for flow of threads, however, as you
are less intelligent than I and even Sir.Tony, I don't expect you to get
    that.
I can tell anyone I like what to do.
Whether they listen to me, do it, tell me to **** off, or just try to kick
my head in is another matter and totally up to their discretion.
    Bet you couldn't.

    but 'm not
Horrah for your moral values, now kindly **** off if youre bothered.

It just shows that as anticipated by your top-posting
    <sigh> still here?</sigh>
Look, you dont look more intelligent by using more big words you know?
What would the antidisestablishmentarianism thinking individuals think of
    that?
    See? Doesn't work!
As for me thinking im important, nope I dont have some sort of superiority
complex, nor do i believe i am more important than anyone else quite
honestly. Conversely I don't believe that anyone else is any more important
    than me either.
Yup done that thanks, and its **** all to do with being a member of this
    newsgroup.

    You
Actually I think we were specifically referring to the UKRM usenet
community, if other newsgroups don't have such local
laws/guidelines/requests then thats up to them. Here it is required.

and it's just something else for grumpy old men to complain
Nope, Im only 34 so not old, and not grumpy. And telling someone theyre a
**** is not definitively a complaint, more of a statement i would say.
Hmmmm I wasn't aware of any rules about age having anything to do with being
interested in bikes, pray tell, o wise top poster, whats the link?

    PS, **** 'orf

Certainly not, I find it disgusting to think some people watch porn
    films on the internet.

I takes me ages to down load the things (pikey band).
However, my views on the above will officially change on 1st Dec. when
broadband will be mine, and eyesight and other myths will be tested.

Do **** off and read the FAQ's. That'll explain why.

Oh, and if you read the FAQ's of quite a lot of NG's, they'll also
explain why 'bottom posting' is more preferable.

    Why says...
For all your supposed intelligence, you still haven't sussed why top
posting to a newsgroup that requires you to bottom post is unacceptable,
    therefore you are a fuckwit.

Intelligence doesn't equal common sense, & it takes the latter to see
why top posting in a high traffic newsgroup is a bad thing. Plus the
fact it's the netiquette for this group - *everybody* posts below the
    point they're addressing.
Try catching up on several hundred messages after being away for a
couple of days; then you might understand.
