I thought it might be funnier if I left the punchline implied.

Nothing. Well, nothing to me because it's warranty work.

    Not much done.

I've changed the handlebars for a set of very nice Harris clip ons and
got the damaged plastics off and that's it.

I'd forgotten the level off fucking about required to change the bars
over because of the fact that everything is pinned in position so I've
had to cut off all the pins then waste over an hour trying to get the
mashed Brembo front brake lever off. The switches don't tighten up
enough to stop them moving so I'll either put a wrap of tape under
them or glue the fuckers in place.

I'll have another go next weekend and aim to get the swinging arm
changed and the new rearsets fitted then it's simply a case of throw
on the plastics and ride it. I'm going to have to hope I don't break
the hanger for the end can when I straighten it because I really don't
want to be wasting time ordering a new one. It's only slightly bent so
I reckon I'll get away with it.

    I'm stunned.

They've fitted a new wiring harness and reg/rec and it's ready for
collection. The guy who phoned me has said he'll give me the full
story when I pick it up but that's not a bad turn-around when you
consider they're shut on Monday so Tuesday morning must have been the
first chance they had to look at it.

I wonder if they keep spares for known warranty issues ready for
    instant despatch?
