    Nothing?

I'm not trying to wriggle out of what I said (1) earlier, but if you
can't understand the concept of banter and then go for the sympathy
    vote, that's your problem.

    (1) As in what I actually said rather than the 'look everyone, he's
wishing death and destruction on me and my bike!' shite you apparently
took it to be, you humourless ****.

it wasn't anything other than nasty - Honda fucked up when they went from
the 750 to the 800. Reading the reviews, with the 1200 they seem to have
produced an over-priced, under-specced bike compared to the competition.

I don't think I was the only one who read it as such, especially when
    you repeated it later.
    <shrugs>

Humourless? No, I've got a very good sense of humour.
    ****? Yeah, that's probably true.

    No, you **** off.

Yes, I have - here it is again:

"Funnily enough, I've never dropped one at low speed either (1)

    (1) In front of all my mates or otherwise... I can therefore only
imagine how acutely embarrassing it must be for clumsy fucktards who've
    managed to do this. :'("

That in my book, is a bit of ribbing... and not someone wishing death
and destruction on someone and / or their bike.

Maybe you were in fact referring to the comment made in this thread,
    you senile old ****:

"> I think that now would be a good time to start throwing my 10R back
Do it - I'm looking forward to winning that bet when you lob it at
    walking pace... again."

Whilst I admit that does perhaps look a bit unkind, I can assure you it
    was 'banter'.

However, I'll play along for now - perhaps you'd like to tell us all
how many people you know who've died as a result of dropping their bike
at walking pace... only I'm still struggling to see the link between
both of the above comments and the picture you painted as a result, as
in 'look! look! He's wishing me and my bike a painful death!'

The term 'kneejerk' springs to mind, as does 'you've made yourself look
    rather silly'.

    In your opinion.
I've had both in spades - not that it makes my opinion any more valid,
    but...

My take on the two is the 750 is more polished and functional.

The finish is better than the 800.

It has less low down grunt and drinks more fuel when ragged.

Handling wise... to be honest I found the 800 better - in part due to
the satan that is 'linked brakes'.
Given my general disinterest in all things currently clad in plastic
(1), I doubt I'll be looking that closely at one anyway tbh.

In fact the only current faired bike that's sort of appealed, is
whatever the sports thingy is that BMW released last year.

No... I can in retrospect, see why it maybe came across as a bit
malicious... but I can assure it wasn't.

Anyway... and don't get used to this, but... I apologise for any
    offence caused.
    ;-)
