Is anyone riding tomorrow, or is anyone interested in riding tomorrow?

I know there is a poker run in Lipan, but I can't say I am real
    interested in that.

I'm riding tomorrow!!! I have my bike shined and ready to roll. I'm
debating either heading east to east Texas (is there any other east
from my house) or south to San Marcos to the chopper fest going on.
Mikey and Vinny of OCC are supposed to have a booth down there and
signing autographs. I'd rather wait until the Pauls show up somewhere,
    but it's a possible ride.

Why, do you have any ideas?

Not any real good ones. I just wanted to ride a bit tomorrow so I
thought I would see what everyone else was up to. San Marcos is a bit
of a ways if you go the way I like to go. ;-)

I have seen a few OCC bikes and I must say I was impressed with the
bikes. Wouldn't be a bad thing to see more of them.

Where in E. Texas are you planing on hitting?

From my house, I went out 66 and up 205 to Lavon and then switched to
78 to 160 and then into Whitewright. From there, I took 11 into
Sherman and then 82 to Bonham. From Bonham, I went straight out (and I
mean STRAIGHT) to Paris and then down to Commerce, and Sulphur
Springs. I left SS to go down 19 to Emory and changed over in Emory to
head to Quinlan. In Quinlan, I headed down to Terrell and then in
Terrell, I kicked over on 80 and went east to Marshall. In Marshall, I
decided I had enough and jumped over and slabbed it back to Mesquite
    via 20.

I was wanting to head from Marshall to Atlanta and into
Texarkana...but it was getting too late and I knew all I had was my
Joe Rocket jacket and my satin Honda jacket in the bag. It turned out
getting too warm in the morning when I was leaving and I pulled off my
longsleeve shirt while I was in the driveway and just wore my t-shirt
    under the jacket.

It was a good day to ride yesterday, and if anyone didn't take
advantage of EVERY minute, they just missed quite a bit.

I MUST HAVE missed it. I have no idea where that road is. I came up
160 and hit the service station there in Whitewright (great burgers)
and thought the only logical way from there to Sherman was 11. Is 697
north or south of the intersection at 11?

Funny, but I keep seeming to miss Blue Ridge when I ride up that way.
I keep seeing the signs for it, but never actually see where the signs
point to. I just notice that there's a point where Blue Ridge is no
longer listed in the mileage signs. It might be alot like Bonham and
me though. And I NEVER go anywhere that Leonard is listed. I got lost
in that town for over 45 minutes one trip. Don't ask me how, it just
worked out that way. Nothing like having to stop and ask for
directions on how to get out of Leonard.

Maybe next time I plan a trip up that way, I'll drop you a post to let
you know and we'll share some slab together.

You had a better time of it than I did. I ended up slabbing it out to
the lake to take a few supplies out to winterize the boat. I 2-up'd
it, but the weather was real nice. Ended up staying out at the lake
last night and this morning the wind really picked up and made it a
bit rough on the way home.

Only put in about 170 miles....

I dunno, I've polished chrome and pegs on the sides of my Shadow quite
    a number of times.

If someone just squats on their seat and putters along, they might as
well save their money and just buy a movie.
