I've slagged pretty much every brit I've owned. The Norton is a badly
designed fossil that should have ceased production years ahead of when
it did. Doens't matter.

Maybe they had the talent but the backing was sadly lacking and any
future development was scuppered, thus.

I think that considering the management ineptitude, lack of investment
and development and so on, the British bike industry did amazingly
well to stay on top for so long.

 

I tend to get the rolling of eyes rather than being frowned upon.
Equally terrifying.

 

Sadly, they did. We had some of the greatest designers in the world, but
most of the scribbles never reached production. If they had reached the
showrooms they'd still have leaked and broken down, but oh, the
delightfulness of them.
