A 21 year old from south gippsland was killed yesterday afternoon (3pm ish)
on the Inverloch to Cape Paterson road. I'm not sure of what information has
ben released by police so i wont put too much detail here as there may be
    charges involved.

The young rider was a real nice kid, always took the time to stop and have a
chat about bikes. I will miss seeing him around.

    Motorcyclist dies in crash
    From: AAP

    October 04, 2005

A MOTORCYCLE rider died today after he was hit by a car on a coastal road in
    south-east Victoria.

Police believe a Toyota van hit the man's motorcycle on Bunerong Coast Road
near Cape Paterson just before 3pm (AEST).
The 21-year-old man died at the scene and the car driver, a man in his 20s,
    suffered only minor injuries.

The motorcyclist's death takes the state's road toll to 272, compared to 266
at the same time last year.

    Why do you think
your account of an accident shouldn't be published because of possible
charges? I see the TV news report on accidents every day of the week.
Unless there's a specific court order suppressing the details of a case
there should be no restriction on what you can say, esp in a limited
    forum.

He's probably another bloody Copper! Although his spelling is a bit
too good ... he'd never get by on Corks Patrol!

That would be an increase then?
Since everytime it goes down it is because of good policing and
effectiveness of speed cameras, can we assume that this year we've had bad
    policing and ineffective speed cameras?

It's a nice road that btw. Anyone coming down the #1 highway from
sydney for the GP would be well advised to make the detour.
