I found the story today in the hardcopy DMN. Page 2B(Metro)
    section - under "Regional Roundup".

    Thanks - Gary

Anyone here got any details on a Thanksgiving day rider killed.

This is kinda' what I heard on the local ABC affiliate(channel 8
locally). But, by the time I started getting attentive, the story was
    over.

"Speed is possibly the cause for a motorcycle accident of a 45
YO female, who was decapitated". "paraphrasing"

The bike was shown lying in a highway that was out in very open
spaces. Like, out by DFW airport. But could have been anywhere
    in the DFW area.

I've searched the DMN and FW Star Telegram, and can't find any-
thing about this. I thought this would appear in NG, but I can't find
    anything anywhere.

    ???

    Thanks - Gary Walker

I can't find an electronic copy anywhere, including DMN.

Here's the brief, but complete text:

    [start]
Coppell woman thrown from motorcycle, dies

A 45-year-old Coppell woman died Thursday after she was thrown
from her motorcycle, police said. Carrollton police said they are still
investigating the 12:15 p.m. wreck that killed Susan Robey Henry.

According to reports, she was traveling north in the 2100 block of
Old Denton Road and was thrown from her 2001 Harley-Davidson
motorcycle when it struck a curb. Police said that Ms. Henry was
wearing a helmet and protective clothing and that it appeared that
she was an experienced rider. She died at the scene, police said.

    [end]

The report on the Channel 8 news channel mentioned decapitation.
Hopefully, that was just some kind of mistake, although it seems
pretty easy to determine. I would also think something more severe
than a curb would be needed to inflict such an injury. I guess it all
depends on how tangled one becomes with the bike, in lieu of any
    other non-mentioned obstacle.

I suspect that someone here knows something more about this, or
    possibly knew Ms. Henry.

    Thanks - Gary

Okay... Anyone who has frequented Wilhoittes in Grapevine or Stroker's in
Dallas has probably seen this woman.. Susan was freqently in both places..
She loved to ride her Harley and it was a nice one.. She love to fraternize
with her Biker friends and they were a fairly close knit group from the
    Coppell and Carrollton area..

This small group were what is normally described as the "Yuppie Crowd" and
kept mostly to themselves.. For the most part, they were not the typical
biker crew .. Susan was a very attractive and pretty woman.. What a pity..
that her life ended so tragically.. Her friends will miss her, as will many
of us who came in contact with her.. Sad news .. indeed..
