They have actually. There are certain sections, on the southern end of the

Agree, maquarie pass is good, but always seemed to be squillions of
cars compared to natio...

During the week you get trucks and tour coahces instead!!!

(MP was bewwwwwwwwwwdiful when they had the stop lights down the road a bit
from the bottom, while they were doing road works. Just sit there and wait
for the red, and then the green, and then you have a clear run up the pass
(well, for the first few corners at least.))

 

I remember a similar thing happening up Kyogle way years ago. It was a
vast improvement!
