Nah, Erin likes to sit up straight, but she does like to go fast (gotta love
fast women!). I can see her on something like a Shadow ACE or a Vulcan 800,
or maybe she should just jump to an 1100 size. The ride is virtually all
we've talked about last night. It was great to meet you and your dad after
reading your posts on here over the last year.

    Fast women! <snicker>

Speaking of 1100's, I think Wyatt has an 1100 for sale. When you get
in touch, ask him about. I remember he used to ride it and it seemed
    like a real nice bike.

The day I can't keep up with the front of a house I have had entirely
too much to drink or have become all together senile.

Naaa....you were running that bike of yours pretty good. It was a
good ride. You may have noticed I have that one little mirror on the
larger mirror. That is mainly because my rear-view mirrors aren't
very good at seeing behind me. The little one shows what is directly
    behind me, but it's deceptive.
Well that is exactly why I got rid of my cruiser and went to something
more aggressive. I had a '98 Magna and I loved that bike. But, when
I was riding in NM I kept scraping pegs and stuff all over the place.
So, after that I decided to start looking. A friend of mine was
selling his Falco (same year / model, different color) and I almost
bought his. He let me ride it a few times and I just fell in love
with it. But I am glad I got the red one. The red ones are faster.

Well, I gave you the link for the player that I have on another post
(same thread). You will have to decide what is the right player for
you. There are plenty of good ones out there. There are pros and
    cons for each type, etc.

I don't think a full face helmet will cut down on noise that much.
They aren't designed to reduce noise. I'd go for a set of earplugs,
and if you are going to take tunes, spend the extra cash and get the
ones with the speakers in them. Like I was telling you, that lady
will be at the International Motorcycle Show in Dallas. She is there
every year. A bit pricey, but I think it is well worth it.

Oh, and I'd still buy a full-face, but not for cutting down on
    noise....that is just me.

BTW - when I turn my tunes on is when I can't hear y'all talking to me
anymore. But I can still hear the bikes just fine while cruising,
horns, and emergency vehicles. So, it's not like I am totally
    disconnected out there.

Yeah right... I have been with you when you were spaced out so far, you
didn't realize what planet you were on... Jim Taylor made a comment about
riding behind me was like having a fifty calibre shooting at him... LOL...

You and Brian both have some loud pipes, but they don't bother me when
I am behind y'all. If it wasn't for the earplugs I probably wouldn't
    like it too much.

But it's amazing how much more relaxed you can be when your ears
aren't fatigued. Kind of like riding when you are wet and cold....you
remove that element and it takes a huge load off of you.

The International Motorcycle Show is held at the Dallas Convention
center every year right about the middle of December.

I tried to find some info on it, but couldn't. I'm sure someone will
post something, especially closer to December. It's worth going to
    and I'll definitely be there.

It will be a little earlier this year, November 21-23. More info here:

I went last year and it was great, especially the trials guy riding down the
waterfall, now that was amazing. You get to sit on virtually every make and
model of motorcycle, and look at tons of accessories and clothes. Well
    worth the price of admission.
