One of my friends who heads up a veteran's group in the state called me last night.. I am not clear of the details but he has asked me to post something about a gathering in Mt.Pleasant this coming saturday.. My impression is that it is to do with the loss of benefits the administration has cost the Veteran's Administration.. For several years now, I have urged the various veteran's group to appeal to motorcycle advocacy groups to support their causes.. They are reaching out to us, now.. I might point out that they need as much help as we can afford them.. My visits to the different facilities of veterans has impressed me.. Don't take my word for it.. visit one of their hospitals.. My friend asked me to get the word out and encourage all who ride to mount up and join them this saturday.. Furthur information about the event will be posted by me as I get it.. Your interest will be appreciated and your participation will be rewarded greatly.. For all the food lovers, I am given to understand that dinner will be served amounting to Catfish and Barbecue..
