Louie, Big Ed ( riding his Blue Venture and not the Maroon Goldwing
pulling a trailer) and myself went for a short run yesterday out to
Lake Fork. We got to Emory just in time for the rain. We pulled under
the carwash for cover and this lady pulled in to clean out her truck.
Big Ed pulled a Bill Walker on her and started asking her a bunch of
questions about why she was under the cover...she said she was there
to clean out her truck so Big Ed let her slide and didnt kick her ass.
We then walked over to the DQ and ate a burger while we waited out the
rain. Rain stopped and we hit the road. We rode around to Quitman ( I
think thats it) and then headed to Sulphur Springs to hit I-30 and
    head back West.

I got to tell you something about Big Ed ( riding his Blue Venture and
not the Maroon Goldwing pulling a trailer) ...DONT get in his way on
the return trip. He finds HIGH GEAR when hes headed back to the house.
He bobs and weaves and WILL pass in the same lane your in. Just a word
    of caution.

Big Ed split off at a few exits from Beltline, I split off at 635
South and Louie continued on I-30 to Cowtown. Good ride ...

I didnt take any pics yesterday. I think the only time we stopped long
enough to take some pics was when it was raining and with you giving
that woman a hard time, I didnt want to break out the camera incase
you kicked her ass. We wouldnt have wanted a picture like that to get
out on the internet. Check with Louie..he might have snapped a few.

Yep, Big Ed, is like a homing pigeon.

    Thanks Skipper, nice report.

If Ed, had not been along,I bet U wouldve mounted that goodlooking
silver Barge and went right on, inpite of all that rain.

We rode also, around the area, ate us a nice Burger, somewhere, I fogot
    where?

You got that right..I aint scared of no rain. I think we have only had
3 days without rain since I bought that Goldwing. I got over 17,000
miles on it now. We need to ride on down your way and eat at your Hot
Link Stand sometimes...you need to send us out some coupons so we can
eat free. Us retired and semi-retired folks on a fixed or almost fixed
    income are broke.

Makes me think of the Greek Army's motto... "Never leave you buddy's
    behind". Or was "buddies"???

    The Skipper remarks to Bjay:
''Bjay--I aint scared of no rain. I think we have only had 3 days
without rain since I bought that Goldwing. I got over 17,000 miles on it
    now.''

Pitiful, you just dont ''ride'' much, I hate that for ya.

Just think if it wasnt for the dern Rain, you'd have, maybe 27,000 on
    that big old Barge.
