Might I suggest calling someone a "chiselling little crook"? Seems to
    work
    wonders.

As opposed to whoever chose the barriers for Paddington mainline.
    Compared
to the ones on the underground, they're absolutely fucking diabolical.

Well, I hope if you try it someone decides it would be fun to hold onto
a bikers arm whilst they're driving "to see the look on his face".

Please complain to First as they seem to think they're great - despite
just about all of the customer panel telling them they're not.

Do it quick too as they're planning on putting them in the rest of the
    platforms soon.

    Done.

Obv, when they axe the 7.25 service later in the year, the barriers will
be the least of my problems. Now if only I could find the draft
timetables again. FWGL's site is shite.

It's not that shite - they've been taken down as the consultation has
closed. The final release will come out later in the year, along with
the replies to the individual comments.

FWIU/BT, your service is being "reviewed" due to the volume of
    objections to the suggestions made.

Doesn't mean anything will change, but they are looking at it.

Mine's been so shit, I've resorted to doing an online ITIL course.

  13. In the same way that they are looking at the carnage they will inflict
on train services in Cornwall and saying "we are only doing what the DfT
told us to do" and are completely refusing to make any other comment or
commitment to officials and elected representatives. Quite how train
services are viable and practical for the remainder of this year and
then become unaffordable and impractical on one day in December I have
to say I'm struggling to understand.

However this is just the start - the rest of the English rail network
will slowly be strangled and turned to ratshit by Darling's "Angels of
Death" at the Rail section of the DfT. Those in Scotland and Wales will
get some sort of reprieve courtesy of their Parliament / Assembly.

I've enjoyed my day at work for the first time in ages but that's
because I know I'm going to start a riot and finish someone off as far
as future promotions go when I roll in on Monday morning.

BGN? He'z just ziz guy, you know?
This is a very good skill.

I'd suggest using the same skill and practising putting on a pretend
"very angry, shouty and mad bastard" personality.

Its only acting, you know it, and you're calm inside and in complete
control, but the other party will think you're genuine and in nearly
all cases it'll work well and they'll **** off pronto.

In the few remaining cases you've just got to be able to avoid their
first punch and then floor them with one punch.

My brother can put on a "mad loon" hat at any time he wants and by
christ does he do it well. Helps being a 6'3" fat hairy bastard though
    :)

I'm really confused. I keep reading this and it still makes little
sense. What are "quite" and "lest" in context?

Is it a joke of some sort?

You won't bother biting, and then you called me a ****.

    What's your definition of biting?
