    for sale near to me.

You don't see one of those for sale every day. What were they actually
like? I have a vague recollection that Champ had one, or was it a
    Harris.

Christ, I bet that's load - I can't imagine much silencers from that
4-4 exhaust - looks like it's just straight through pipes.
    The latter, IIRC.

I seem to recall the frames were nickel plated so that one looks like it's
    been painted.

  4. He had an 'Arris. Rickmans had nickel-plated frames, which dulled
quickly, so as Steve says, this one looks to have been painted.

Worst thing about those early frames is the method of adjusting the
chain tension - shims, applied to the swinging arm end. A right PITA.

Could be a bargain at the price, mind. Reynolds 531 tubing was used to
make the frames. Works of art.

You might update it too. Oddly it's still open in my browser from me
clicking on the link last night, and it doesn't even mention Pahnd
island except for the Ramsey sprint way back when. I'm surprised at
    you.
