Anyone got them? Are they any good? Or can anyone recommend a pair of
waterproof summer gloves for around the 40 quid mark?

I have a pair of Pathans of the winter and a pair of lightweight summer
gloves, but nothing for these hot and wet conditions

    TIA, David

Thanks for that, I shall have a look at them too. My HG Pathans have been
good and dry but just too hot for this weather. My thin leather summer
gloves soak up water like a sponge despite extensive use of a host of acme
    waterproofers.

The more kit I buy, the more I am finding that Goretex is the way to go.

They look disturbingly similar to some of the gloves the bunch I work
for sell. One bit secures the toggles to the gloves in a
not-adjustable-at-all manner, the other is elasticated and passes
through the vice-like spring grip of the toggle and around the wrist
part of the glove, allowing the wearer to tighten the glove around the
wrist as preferred. It works, but requires 2 hands to operate *as
well as the one in the glove*.

Until the bit that holds the toggle breaks.

Well these are fine so far, the elastic cord tightens up nicely and is easy
    to release, one handed.

Fair enough. I are a clumsy person.

The palms are leather but it seems quite water resistent, doesn't hold much
at least and the goretex is doing it's job. The cuffs are a synthetic
material. They are easy to get over a leather jacket sleeve and tighten.

Alpinestars goretex/neoprene/nylon/fake leather combi is the best summer
    waterproof glove I've used
