Housemate bought one today, and I rode it home for him - as I refused to
lumber his Kombi van home from the dark depths of the northern suburbs when
    already 4 hours late.

First time I'd ridden one in a couple of years and I really had forgotten
just how incredibly uncomfortable these ltitle critters are! Sheesh, and it
was only a 30km trip. Made the R6 feel like an armchair. And the
    vibration, jeezus.

But I can see the appeal; it really does feel awfully close to the 125GP
bike I was playing with at Broady.. no doubt even closer to a 250GP machine.

    "nnnnnnning ning ning ning" hehe.

Need to line up some track days I reckon.

ah ya pussy , they are a shit load comfortable than most other 250's i have
    sat on

and a lot more comfy than the 916
love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning
they really arent all that fast, they are all about corner speed, get the
    cornering right and
    then they become quick

Any RGV that feels close to as fast as a 250 GP is worked off its
nut.. not even the factory race kit that was available gave that much
    impression...

I meant purely in terms of crampedness and general dimensions. Not the
    engine, as I've never ridden a 250GP.

What I find even more amazing is that the 500s and MotoGP bikes are
physically very similar in size. Farrrkkk imagine a 200hp RGV..

  7. The hell they are... in silhouette, the four-strokes are about the size of a
current street 600, if not even taller. They are a fair bit narrower, but
not so as to rattle the brain of any Ducati 748/9** rider.

The 500s were somewhat smaller, but still not even close to an RGV. 24L of
fuel is always going to require a fair chunk of tank to hold... I remember
Proton having one of their two-stroke triples on their display at the Sydney
Motor Show in about 1999. It was about the size of a fat CBR250 with a
    taller seat.
