I suspect neg equity should only hit people who've bought in the last
2yrs, maybe 18 months. Houses round here that were 90ish in 2000 were
going for 250 ish last year, but now seem to be back to about 190ish.

I just wish I'd bought one of them, and sold it last year.

 

OK You were sensible and didn't go for a 110%+ mortgage. I'm not saying
Snowy did I'm just generalising.

Actually, when i think about it I'm better off having not done, 90K at
the time would have been much more mortgage than I was comfortable
with, especially as I was moving with no equity at all from the
