post editing is only "OK" when it's funny.

I've nothing against Israel or the Jews (though AFAIK I don't know
many) but I'm just really bored reading countless threads where the
    subject comes up[1].

[1] and I do think quite often it happens because people are trying to
goad you in some pointless way.

FWIW, unlike a lot of posters here, you've never demonstrated anything
that comes even close to anti-Semitism (IMO).
    *shrug*

I like a good scrap [1]. And I have Right on my side. Plus, I'm cursed
with a phenomenal memory, so when I read something (and I read
voraciously, and have for over four decades now), it stays in there <fx:
taps forehead>. And facts will always triumph over hatred.

(note that the Cliquey 'slaps on the back' from Irvine to Bullshit, from
Bullshit to Hog, from Hog to ..etc. etc etc, 'oh you showed 'im, Bear!!'
... 'oh fucking hell, you're so kewl, man!!' are irrelevant)

Anyway, you'll all get a break now, as I'm off out.

    D.

[1] as long as it stays here on UKRM, which is why I can never attend a
UKRM meet (even if I had a bike), as there are probably at least six or
seven people on here who would love to see me dead, and the more I learn
about the convictions for violence of a worrying proportion of the
newsgroup, the more sure I am that some would try to bring that about,
    first chance they got

Please don't taking this as an invitation to cut and paste volumes of
'facts' but it's the whole playing the 'anti-Semitism' card which makes
it impossible to debate this in the same way that "YOU'RE RACIST"
knocks other discussions on the head.

    Sort of, it's on topic.
Nothing puzzles a UKRMer more than a motorcycle related post :)

actually, it needs a new rear tyre (as in, it's punctured, not worn).

I bought some cut-slicks for it in the summer, but the two nearby
places that do motorcycle tyre fitting told me that they no longer do
a remove, fit tyre, refit wheel service, and only fit tyres to loose
wheels. So I need to find some time over the next month or so to work
out how to get the wheels off the thing.

EVERYONE thinks they have God (Right) on their side, no matter which side

    cheeky ****. Oh, right...

I'd prefer to find somewhere that still offers a ride-in-ride-out
service, to be honest (the rear will hold air for 45 minutes or so).

cheers - that's a little on the far side, but do-able.
did you find the tyre place when you were getting a tattoo, or vice
    versa?
