Return to biking.

    Living in Dublin I'm sick of the daily commute that can take an hour to
    drive the 9 miles to work so I've decided to buy a bike.

    I passed my test 15 years ago and have had a few bikes the most recent was
    sold 5 years ago and was a '96 ZZR600. I loved the bike but it just wasn't
    feasible to bring it over to Ireland with me.

    SO, I want to buy another one. I have seen a few for sale at around ?3000
    usually 1991 versions. Does anyone else have one of a similar age and is
    there anything that I should be looking for in particular ?

    I'm also interested in a Honda VFR 400R NC30 of similar age so again any
    advice on that would be nice :)

    A mate has one for sale, in commuter condition, ie cracked bellypan plastics
    and a few scuffs.

    I've got a low-mileage 'R' reg (1998?) ZZR600 (in the pale blue colour
    scheme) you can have for about £1750
    Some minor fairing damage but otherwise in good condition.

    It's in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
