    Nah, it's funny. Your childish lies are kinda cute.
    Anyways, you chose a very fitting title for a thread
    in which to claim your "victory".... <vbg>

    Here's what happens to steel framed buildings exposed
    to raging infernos for hours on end.

    On 9-11-01, WTC7, a 47 story steel framed building, which
    had only small, random fires, dropped in perfect symmetry
    at near free fall speed as in a perfectly executed controlled
    demolition.

    That's evidently typical (factory parts). A couple of years ago, the spline
    went out on the rearend of my bike. You can't get just the spline. You
    have to order the whole rearend, which is around $400. Luckily we had a
    "spare" and I was back to riding the next day.

    But... try losing something like a couple of bolts, out of the front
    fender.[1] Joe can tell you how quickly that can lock down your front tire
    and what gravel feels like, when you hit it.[2] His crash bars look like
    someone took a grinder to them.
    Hopefully the neighborhood shop has some bolts that will fit, or if he has
    to, Joe can make some.

    [1] After he hit the deer in '04, he straightened out the fender but forgot
    to use Loctite on the threads of the bolts. Locktite is a good thing.

    [2] While at Old Glory, for the "Freedom Ride".

    ==SAY, Henry, did you read where I found me a Valkyrie? Yesterday, we
    picked it up from the store, they put on some nice hard leather-like.
    lockable bags, and a 21inch Windshield, which they owed me. (what'a
    Bike)===   bjay~

    ~~~Bjaykana,I got the LeatherLyke hard bags for mine, too. I can take
    'em off or put 'em on in about 2 minutes with no tools. Make sure you
    tighten up the mounting studs securely. I was out riding without the
    bags last summer, when my friend Ramona, who was riding behind me, said
    she saw something fall off my bike. I said no way, this is a Honda and
    figured I must have kicked something up that was lying in the road. Come
    to find out, she was right - a day or two later, I noticed that one of
    the mounting studs fell off. So, we went out riding again, and I asked
    her to show me the spot where she saw it fall off. We parked our bikes
    on the side of the road and started looking around, when a fellow comes
    out of his house and asks what we're looking for. I show him the other
    stud, and tell him that I think I might have lost a part like that one.
    He walks to his garage and comes back with the missing stud (and
    spacer). He found it while mowing his lawn, and he didn't even hit it
    first. It's good to get lucky sometimes... <g>
      Mine came with a Honda windshield, but so far the only time it's
    been on was during the ride back from the dealer. I might put it back on
    when the weather gets cold, but in the summer I think I prefer the wind
    and the better vision.
    ===============================
    Yeah, that Honda Windshield really fits the Bike nice. But I like my
    21inch one, just fine. I know a fella that has the one you are talking
    about.
    Henry, you must have the exact bags that I made Honda put on in the deal
    They cost $450, and yes they are removable, with a tweezer type pull
    deal. They are the largest bags, that we have ever, ever had. My Magna,
    has a set, but both are maybe the size of one on the Valk.
    Well, shoot, I gotta have me a windshield, I gave up trying to look
    ''bad'' long ago, riding without a WS. (wink)
    For a week, we rode around the area,without one, waiting for my stuff to
    come in at the store. It wasnt tooo bad, but the 75-80 mph wind vibrated
    my prescription eye wear, heh-heh-
    Henry, we're planning our first 700 mile weekend, We're riding to
    Lafayette, Lousiana, Buddy, that is way south, around the areas where
    Tina (hurricane). made a mess.Not a large mess, but a mess. Lafayette,
    is about a 100 miles west of NewOrleans.
    We're riding along with that famous Harley that I spoke of once on here,
    our daughter and husband, KB rides,, You might remember, on that thread
    line, little twoBit (iggy) called me a liar, about it all. heh-heh-
    Anyway, we wanna try out the
    the FatLady. Load that gal up, and ride south. (wink). over-bjay
