Phone call yesterday from solicitor at RSS. Eagle Star Zurich have
valued the Bandit 600 at £2,200 pre-bin, and the salvage is valued at
£100, therefore they are offering me £2,100. I know the rule is never
to accept the first offer, but I have anyway, as it's more than I was
expecting and it is enough for what I have planned (not only that, but
given the struggle RSS have had getting this out of them, I reckon
it's a good idea to take the money and run). Now awaiting the cheque;
Bandit 1200 on pre-launch countdown...

I didn't argue when my insurers offered me twice what I paid for the
