    good job I didn't make any rash decisions to avoid lunchtime drinking.
    Off now for my first pint of 2008.

    I had my first pint of 2008 last night, but I had a few glasses of wine
    on New Years Day.

    I made a resolution many years back to never make any further
    resolutions and so far, I've stuck to it.

    Today will be the first day I won't have had any alcohol for over a
    month. Maybe just as well I've got trains to drive - I'm beginning to
    feel a bit poorly.

    I'm not finding booze very interesting although I have been trying.
