You should try riding a bike with torque instead, its more fun in the
    long term.

Its worth switching over to reserve occasionally to make sure everything is
functioning as expected. I got caught out once... ran out of juice and tried
to switch to reserve only to find that the fuel tap had broken and I only had
the main position. Solution is to lean the bike over on the tap side when
it's stopped so that the fuel finds its way into the higher fuel collector...
and ride economically... repeat every km or so until you find a petrol station
    or run dry.

I exceeded 200kms from every refuel of my CBR250RR - including city riding
and thrashing it. Usually I got more than 20km/L around town (usually around
    22) and up to 25 on hiway riding. 20km/L with a 13 litre tank gives 260km.

Is your Cobber sick? Or are you really sick :)

I think I will run the tank on reserve every now and again , maybe it
will get rid of any small amounts of water in the tank , so that when I
do need to use the reserve , it won't be much water in the bottom of the
    tank.

Thanks , I have forgotten about having water settling in the bottom of
    the fuel tank.

I put 18.25L into an 18L tank the other day. I was quite proud of myself
.... running it down to the line!

  13. I can only assume you are talking about your Coffee grinder, or perhaps, its
why you have been so quite over he few days?

Hmm, I wonder if I can fit a tacho to the coffee grinder.

My lack of noise over the last couple of days has been courtesy of
bigpong saving up all the new posts for me.

    Umm Theo - HP requires fuel. He's making 45hp from 250cc you're getting 75Hp (I
may be being generous) from 1100cc
