Replacement Windshield?

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Robert Masters, Feb 13, 2005.

  1. G'Day all, I am wondering where I can get a windshield replacement for
my 01 VFR 800. Specifically I am interested in getting a dark
    tinted/smoked shield?

Any pointers to websites or local aussie dealers that stock such an item?

    Cheers

"Screens for Bikes" in Reservoir, Melbourne might be able to help
you. I bought a screen for the CX650 (aftermarket fairing) off
them years ago. See if they're in the phone book.

Robert Masters is of the opinion:
I got a replacement screen for my GT750's CBX1000 fairing screen from Eagle
Screens, http://www.eaglescreens.com.au/ and was quite happy with the
result. I also had a look at Replico Fairings, but they didn't have an
    appropriate model.

Punch "Handcraft Fibreglass", "Seven Hills", and "NSW", into the Name,
Town/Suburb and State fields, respectively, on the front page of
    www.whitepages.com.au.

    Can't reccommend them enough.

Most bike shops will be able to help you out if you ask. You could try Road
Rocket in West Melbourne. The import a lot of after market stuff for bikes.
I'm mentioning them as an option, but not recommending them.

  6. do a www.ebay.com search for "VFR screen" and you'll have hepas of
options... tinted, double bubble, clear original etc etc... plenty or
really good "zero gravity" screens which are - REALLY - good quality...
cheap to ship over here too.
