<SNIP Smee on another pointless crusade> At least it was on topic and relevant to us in Australia. Dale Porter
Yeah, agreed, I gotta say, I don't really mind the occasional ad from people like eaglescreens or whoever - beats the hell out of wallies in the us trying to sell custom harleys for stupid sums JL
No crusade is pointless Dale. all I ask is for the person to state how good they found eaglescreens not just give us the website without comment. It's still spam by any other name.
Maybe not to the person on that crusade. After all, the most famous Crusades in history were thought to be a wonderful thing by the people marching across Europe and the Middle East. But in reality it was very naive and misguided. It was relevant and on topic, and was not crossposted to every group in existence. Spam or not, a few people here (myself included) found it to be noteworthy. Get over it Nick. Dale Porter (Who also doesn't mind receiving junkmail in the letterbox)
Crusades in history were thought Middle East. But in reality it For an in depth view of the "crusades" there is a series starting yesterday (yes, but it's repeated later in the month) on the discovery channel, Fox 19. About seven one hour episodes at around 9:30 EST. Theo
"Tim Moran" wrote Since we moved out to the fringe we get almost no junk mail. My wife gets her girlfriend to save hers and she picks it up once a week. Addicted? Naaah. Theo
I've had the 2-tape video set of the series for a coupla years now. As well as several books on the subject. Dale Porter
