Have been informed of the existence of a company in Adelaide that
manufactures/imports replica fairings for popular makes that are far cheaper
than the genuine parts but so far Google has failed me in locating their web
    page.
    Anyone know of them??

are you looking for fairings for the budgie ?

if thats the case then would be hitting ebay and finding something as
fibreglass replicas just arent the same

  5. I bought complete fairing except for tail section, color coded and stickered
    for $2000.00 through Honda.
Tried to get second hand stuff but wasnt worth repainting and was about
$1600.00 my blackbird now looks great.

Thanks, will keep that in mind for when I next destroy the patchwork quilt
I'm presently running & have the cash to spare.
May wait until trade in time as with my luck, It's bound to fall off the
stand the day after I renew the fairing.

Thanks, but been there, done that. All that turned up in Aus. is a damaged
nose cowl in about the same shape as mine with a buy it now tag of $90.
I would imagine wrecks with an intact fairing would be few & far between...
I've patched up my existing one & re-constructed the missing bits out of
    glass matting.
The result is better than I expected & apart from the paint variation looks
    reasonable at a glance.
However at some stage I would like to get the bike back (or close to )
original if only for re-sale value.

if you want resale then you want original fairings

one look at dodgy fibreglass fairings will see buyers running

Yep, that's what I figured, but am reluctant to spare an arm & leg at the
    moment, hence my optimistic inquiry.
    Thanks for the input.
