  2. Where does this rumor come from that aftermarket chains and sprockets
doesn't last as long as the original. Sure, if you buy an aluminium rear
sprocket it has limited life span. Othervise the sc OEM part is more often
than not standard parts from the well reknowned "aftermarket" producers. DID
is usually found on Hondas and you find better and worse chains from them.
Roller bearings has the same or better quality as "OEM". More often than not
the only difference between them are the wraping. Inside you find the exact
    same part.

  3. Forgive me for using more time getting the message trough ratehr than on
spelling. As a Norwegian English is not my native language.
Well, that's a very different storru of cource. I was thinking of brand-name
    O/X/W ring chains.
So, they produce only shit over there, more like what you expect to get from
    china?
As I said. Scandinavian, besides it's spelled aluminium in many contries as
this is the original name. Just because you yanks can't either pronaounce or
sepll it doesn't change that fact :)
    Not bad.
Quite right, don't know how many 520 chains DID have but it's more than five
with ratings of maximum cc form 125 to 1000cc
    Talking ablut spelling.....
DID's X ring chains are not cheap replacements, rather top of the line. I
don't have any caomparison on wear but low friction usually result in low
    wear as well.
    I've used a 530 x-ring chain for more than 25k miles.
And in todays modern bikes the manufactures mostly stay with standard
    dimensions to save money.
As you said, you get what you pay for.
