I forgot we were short of cat-herders.

Eek. I would have been there then in all probability. It's not a bad
pub and quite near to me more importantly.

Has ogden recovered from the weekend yet?
    It's a shame[1] that tomorrow's the one day I can't do this week.

[1] For me, not for those that attend, natch.

Oh well. When I have returned from head office, I'll attempt
    another piss-up.
    Quite.

    In
Bloody hell, I was in there on Friday night! Well, I was outside in the
alleyway because the pub was full and I wanted to drink my Guinness in
relative peace. I was doing a gig in the Renaissance Hotel.

Quite an interesting little pub, prices weren't even /that/ bad for the
wrong end of the country. I'm still mortified that the parking meter wanted
40p for 5 minutes. Luckily I got away with it for the night :-D

Ok, I admit it, I like Renault 5s.

  10. If you ever need cheap City parking, the one in Smithfield is two quid an
    hour.

Oh arse cunts. I am working from home today on account of the cunting
inability of trains and signalling equipment to run reliably after a light
dusting of snow. I *could* make it up but don't fancy my chances at
    getting home :-/

    That is all.

Heh, good to see you haven't let down UKRM's cat herding reputation.

I'm going to be a no-show too, having picked up some sort of
    cold/stomach bug thing.

Hmm, reading this a day late, just as well I was too hungover from a
Eurostar Return-Leg Duvel Binge (tm) to bother going anywhere near a pub
    yesterday.

On the plus side, that's my 12-pint warm-up for the Monopoly crawl done
    - got a date for it yet? 16th and of March are right out.

I'll be going on the 9th as I'm in SF next week.
But don't let that sway your decision ;-)

Ah, ok. Does the Exel show not run over two weekends
like it (when it was at Ally Pally) used to then? So basically
I'm missing it by not being here next week?

Ah well, no great shakes. I got myself a new helmet
(Arai Astro Race) for half price just before Christmas
so wouldn't have been looking for much.
