just to show I've not been entirely idle, but not probably
particularly indicitive of how it'll end up, but:

    http://cluebyfour.info/dtest/index.cfm

is the "work in progress" for the next release of ukrm.net

If you're after opinions (I know, it's a bit rich coming from me): IMO
especially the background is a bit too busy I think. And I liked the old
    colours better.

If you're not after opinions, delete the previous....

    the background?

That may or may not change, but the content boxes will be growing in
size to cover more of it, IYSWIM.

I am, to a certain extend.

The finished work probably won't look like that - it's just that I've
finally got the CMS to run live, and thought I may as well get it
visible. The final result probably will be "less brown".

Looking good. I must get round to contributing something at some point.

Feel free to link to my homepage - lots of pics of UKRM runs / parties
etc. on there (just need to update some of the links).

How usable is it for bandwidth lepers using modems?

Excellent. I think using opera helps but all the text and shite comes
down and is usable while the little pickies load.

Each page is not so overloaded with grafix that it takes forever to load
if you do want to see them.

  12. its fine by remote dial-up access in Switzerland.

its does have a couple of broken links though (specifically two
external ones in the acronym page!)

Not good, if my experience downloading the front page just now was
    anything to go by.

I was pleased to see a lack of faux-jap insignia, mind.

Yeah, the Designers Republic bit. The layout and usability seem
    pretty spot on to me.

  19. Verrr naice. The cowpat background is a bit urm... shittish.

Apart from that, the overall look and feel is good.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, darsy
****, but that Beemer's ugly. Who sold you that then?

Apart from that, the background's a bit gay. Everything else is
luvverly. Keep up the good work...
