Rejetting

Bikes back from being rejetted now, and has had a good run.

I must say, it was well and truly worth the $350 odd to get it done.

I had a Factory jet kit put in by Doin' Bikes at Lansvale.

When I picked up the bike, the guy said "it goes like a rocket now - you
should be really happy with it". I was a little sceptical, but I needn't
have been.

The throttle response is SOOOO much crisper, the engine note sounds much
better. There is a noticeable increase in HP throughout the rev range (I
can't out a figure on it, but I can feel it). Oh, and it's easier to get it
up too. (Still got lots more practise to go, but I looked in Lowes today for
the Hawaiian shirt to go with the front wheel in the air thing.)

Very happy. Much kudos to Doin' Bikes for the excellent work.

Also, rode the old road last Friday. Gee that's a nice bit of road to ride
during the week. Pity it's so crowded with cops, tourists, and dickheads on
the weekends.
