reg/rec for CBR600?

How much for new? I've got what looks like a couple of good options
for second hand ones, but it's only a good deal in relation to the new
    price, of course!

Second (and probably more important) question: will a reg/rec from an
    CBR600 F4i fit an F3?

    TIA

    F4 is a Phantom but I can't think what an F3 is.

Which year R1 r/r should I be looking at, do you know? The ones from
at least 2004 (and possibly earlier) have a double-plug arrangement
that is quite a bit different and possibly/probably not suitable for
use as a replacement. Any ideas on what would be a reasonable price?
    Thanks again.

    wouldnt really matter much

reason for R1 reg is they can handle high current and i am yet to hear of
    one that
    has died

    reasonable price would be $50

shop on ebay to find one at a reasonable price

all your really need to know is the plug config and then wire it to suit the
    honda

you will have usually 3 x yellow from the stator
    positive
    ground
some have a 6th wire which is a voltage reference wire run that to the
    battery
so the reg knows when to drop the charge to the battery
