Stick the ref nr. on the reg/rec into Ebay (yes, they are the same as the older 'Blades) and get one for a song. I got one for a tenner, inc. postage last year. Then, stick some cooling fins on available from the likes of Maplins. The reason they fail is that the particular reg/recs to certain years don't have fins on, overheat, then **** up your battery too. If you carry on googling, you'll notice that (a) earlier models had fins on, and (b), later models did, too.
