Can someone tell me where these roads are exactly?
I have looked on several road maps and cant find them, are they called
something else (like B222 or somesuch).
The brother and I were thinking of taking an extra few days to go to PI this
year, and i've heard of these roads and thought why not go that way ,if only
    i could find 'em
I believe they are nor-west of Melbourne are'nt they?
Come to think of it , are they the same road or not?
A start and finish point would be helpful. We would be coming from somewhere
like Beechworth after the first day's trip from Wollongong , if that's any
    help. TIA

    No, they're way out east.

The Maroondah Hwy out past Healesville goes through the Black Spur.

The Reefton Spur is between Marysville and Warburton.

  3. Hi there Gra Gra

How long are you down for?

I have some spare time coming up, we could park our bikes at the Barrister's
house and talk about Late fines or something?

In the not too distant Albury/Wodonga.

    Drop me an email...

    Cheers

Black's Spur, or Black Spur, or Blacks Spur, or Blacks' Spur,
depending on who you ask, is the Maroondah Highway [B360] between
    Healesville and Narbethong.

Reefton Spur is the only road of any significance to pass Reefton,
    the C511.
    North East.

    There's also the Mansfield-Whitfield Road ...
    Beechworth -> Whitfield -> Mansfield -> Alexandra -> Marysville ->
    Warburton -> Yarra Junction -> Neerim -> Poowong -> Dalyston ->
Cowes is a nice, if somewhat indirect, way of getting there!
If you're not afraid of a tiny bit of easy dirt, go via Myrtleford.

You leave the Pygmies out of this.
Mate, you would have done so much better if your mates didn't
keep dropping around and drinking your beer.

Say sorry to Katho for me ... :)

    where the roads are , wasn't I :)
Hammo , E-mail is on the way.

  11. It's funny because its poisonous!

I didn't want to make too much about it being the final exam between
    registration and all.

The beer helped with that. I was bloody jealous I couldn't go, but I wasn't
about to let on the importance of this final one, you guys might not have
    stopped in!

Hammo (Yummy. Yummy beers. Imagine not taking pleasure in it, what a
    non-hoot!)

  14. Aye, there is always next time. I t was a welcome distraction. Next time,
we'll hook Sharkey up to the battery as well as putting the electrodes on
    him.

The house has been severely "sorted" with a few more days of "sorting" to
    go....

    Cheers
