Get your weight further back on the seat and keep your arms bent. On the
street, the front should only bottom when you over-brake, evne with the
    crap stock setup.

Yeah. They were supposed to send me mail & stuff, which didn't happen.
I think they fudged other aspects too.
I paid cash for it. I wouldn't mind the cash back. It would buy another
    S.
Thanks. You still doing the BA dinners? Christmas tree ride?

Let me know when you're planning to do the ride. I need to go visit my
    niece in Selah.

You are planning on riding there, aren't you?

Dem, you have no idea what testicular fortitude it takes to race on an EX500.
And you can't even *imagine* what it takes to win on one. However, I for one,
would love to be a member of a rec.motorcycles sponsored 600cc supersport ride
for you. That, my friend, would be worth paying to watch!

Whaddya say, gang? How many are willing to put up $100 to fund a 2004 race
effort featuring our own Demetrios on a rec.motorcycles GSXR600 CCS club racer?

Beer after every race is on me, folks, in Dem's pit.

    Let's make it happen!

  8. I never did the dinners much. I'm going to the ride afterparty, but not
the ride itself. I imagine I'll see you there?

Will do. My girlfriend wants to see Seattle, and I'd like to continue up
to Vancouver, myself. If things go as I would like, the idea is probably
    June.
Rollerskates. Think you can keep up?

Did that ride 30 years ago. One of the highlights was taking the bike
on the ferry from Seattle to Victoria. If that's still an option, I'd
    recommend it.

Are you kidding? That ones' easy. It's just got
a different seat, pipe and paintjob.
    The rest is stock.

    SR500s have an enthusiast following.
Try locating the appropriate website/mailing list
    and sell it there.

  14. Hey, I'm actually stupid enough to oblige. Fancy schmancy Harley owner
such as yourself should be able to bankroll the effort eh? Yamaha R6
is what I'm most familiar with, paint it up with your company's logo
and something cheesy like "Racing to ToMorrow!"

Now fetch me my brown leathers!

Unfortunately, there does *not* appear to be a land rush of reekites seeking to
    clamber on board. :-(

True. That is why you *need* it. :)

Just kidding. I'm selling to clean make some space in my life and
consolidate my rides down into one big bike and one small. There is
likely a BMW Adventure in my future.

  20. Make it a Daytona 600 and I'll kick in my $100. Since it is
wrek.moto, the bike MUST be different.
