    Here's your chance to grab a great example of one of Honda's rare cult
    bikes. If you're familiar with the Hawk GT, GB500 and CB-1, you know what a
    fun bike these are. Great first bike due to the light weight and relatively
    low seat height, tons of fun for more experienced riders as well. Ahead of
    it's time styling looks similar to a newer Ducati Monster, but at a fraction
    of the price.

    I finished my CB-1 up back in December of 2003 and have maybe put 50 miles
    on her since then. Needless to say, scooter time is at a premium and my Hawk
    GT and NSR250 projects are taking up what little time I have. About all she
    gets is a trip around the block once a month or so, which isn't right.

    The previous owner is a buddy of mine and he had her for several years. It
    was quite a pain for him to sell, but family obligations are a strong
    motivator. I had always wanted a CB-1, and jumped at the chance. Never
    thought I'd sell, but it pains me to see such a great bike sit. So, with a
    heavy heart I feel it only right to pass her on to someone else to enjoy...

    Summary of highlights:
    -1989 Honda CB-1
    -High-revving inline 4 cylinder
    -Liquid cooled 399cc
    -Lightweight 375 lbs. (full specs @ http://www.cb-1.com/specs.htm)
    -35mpg+
    -17,xxx miles
    -Includes Honda shop manual
    -No leaks or drips I've noticed since buying in mid 2003.
    -No mechanical or electrical issues I'm aware of.
    -Starts right up.
    -Runs great.
    -Not museum quality, but a GREAT rider.

    Modifications completed in 2003:

    -Fresh Acura "Long Beach Pearl" shot with a triple stage process. Painting
    was due to previous purple paint job, which my painting folks said appeared
    to be over the factory paint. No evidence of damage was found.
    -Painted headlight bucket & trim ring black, powder coated headlight
    brackets & clip-ons black.
    -Removed OEM mirrors & signals, added bar end mirrors & Buell turn signals
    to front end.
    -Removed US market taillight spacer for flush fit, trimmed OEM fender, and
    added Buell turn signals to rear.
    -Filled in channels on top of seat cowl, covered sight hole for rear master
    cylinder, replaced seat.
    -Powder coated stock wheels black.
    -New Michelin Pilot Sports.
    -Close to new seat. No rips, tears, or fading.
    -Rear-set brackets added and powder coated in gray.
    -Fully adjustable '93 CBR900RR shock with remote reservoir using CB-1
    spring.
    -Wiring harnesses and underbody areas body thoroughly cleaned and Armor-All
    applied to remove 15+ years of dust.

    She's here in Dallas, Texas and available for immediate riding. Open to
    delivery within a few hundred miles for gas money (Avalanche 4x4 "gas hog"),
    and/or short-term storage for a non-refundable deposit.

    Hard to set a price for a collectable bike like this, but I'd like to see
    around $2500.
