That's a good effort but I'm afraid it's nowhere near the top three in
    England & Wales.

    Photoshopped.

I can see where you removed the helicopter (and the shark).

8 weeks on from my heart attack, I've been working hard on recovering my
    fitness.

I've worked up from barely being able to walk a few hundred metres,
through 1.5 mile walks thrice daily, to a 7.5 mile walk on Saturday.

Today however, I did something I'm quite proud of.

I scaled Pen Y Fan mountain - which is, ISTR, the 3rd highest peak in
    England and Wales.

You must be consulting a different Wikipedia than the one I looked at:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...the_United_Kingdom#Highest_mountains_in_Wales

    Highest mountains in Wales

    Marilyns
Listed in accordance with the criteria for Marilyns, i.e. all having
a relative height of at least 150 m.

Ranking Mountain Height (m) Relative Height (m)
    1 Snowdon 1085 1038
    2 Carnedd Llewelyn 1062 750
    3 Glyder Fawr 1001 643
    4 Y Garn 947 236
    5 Elidir Fawr 924 c.212
    6 Tryfan 918 c.188
    7 Aran Fawddwy 905 670
    8 Y Lliwedd 898 154
    9 Cadair Idris 893 608
    10 Pen y Fan 886 c.671
    No doubt.

I'm a supporter of counting Dafydd at third place :)

Wiki lies. Check how many peaks there are over 3,000' in Snowdonia
    because they're all higher.
    So it should be.

It's up there in the top 3 or 4 according to Wiki.

Anyway, it's 'quite high', so that's good enough for me.

Ahhh, got it - it's 'highest peak south of Snowdonia' or something, but
the 'relative height' / topographic prominence is highly ranked.

    125? - it's a 200 I'll have you know - and there's no bloody way it
    would make it up there!

Ahem... There is a chance a TL125 may have made it up around 30 years
    ago.

The Fan does quite well at sorting the men from the boys at selection
for a well known military unit. Repetition is, apparently, the thing.
    Hence the Fan Dance.
    Well done you.
