Windows Mobile 5. Can someone recommend a good Usenet newsreader for
    this OS.

Just getting used to an Orange SPV M3100. Seems to be an excellent and
nicely portable Smartphone/PDA, big improvement in size and performance
over the M5000 albeit with a more tiddly keyboard.

There doesn't seem to be any but a certain Mr. Gates said he was writing
    one.

Are there any decent phone sized (like the SPV C600) WM5 phones on
    operators that aren't Orange?

The whole plot is running a lot faster than the 5000 sitting here beside
it. The old model is laggy on applications and screen writes. I'm amazed
the 3100 is actually less powerful. Also the battery life appears to be
*huge* improvement on the previous inadequate life.

So now I find another amusing situation. The M5000 has Pocket MSN. The
M3100 does not. It appears after poking around that the M$/Networks now
want you to pay £10.99 for the pleasure of the software. Same OS. Is
    this real, are they serious!!

Cheers. My contract with Orange - great but doesn't work at all in
certain key areas of Hampstead - is up for renewal November so I've
started looking out for a replacement.

Know of any others likely to be coming on the market in the next few
    months?

Doesn't work at all in the vicinity of Victorian buildings; works
alright on the Heath but I don't spend anytime there.

Except the evening comedy two middle aged men strike across the heath and
see a potential shortcut through those bushes and stumble across some
other middle aged men much English embarrassment and "Nice evening for it"
    type insanity.
