Recommendations for Hire

Moin,

I'm looking into a trip through parts of Australia next
year with a mate of mine and am looking into options for
the motorcycle hire. Ideally we would like get two 1150GS
or maybe even 1200GS, mainly going along the eastern side.
So I was hoping I could collect some recommendations for
places to hire from, roads one must have ridden and other
stuff deemed important by the locals. ;-)

 

You could do worse than try Ed Garner in Melbourne and he should by
now have a depot in Sydney.

Ed has several R1150GSs and by 2005 will no doubt have some R1200GSs.

Oi, stop whinging. And what do you want? People were offering to
provide advice about good routes. Anyway you should have paged
Ivan. Him being a fellow Aussie and knowing Switzerland pretty

Ta, somewhere to start from. I obviously had a google and looked
at various sites, comparing prices etc., but still thought it'd be
useful to get some recommendations.

Hi Hamish,

I've just spoken to Lex who works for Garners and he tells me that the
prices shown on the web site are up-to-date as of last week.

If you have more probs lemme know and I'll get him to send you a price
list.
