Recent Mexico travels - Insurance

I was shredding through some old insurance pages, and
came across information related to rides to/in Mexico,
discussed here recently.

I won't quote the clause(s), and although most bike cov-
erage is standard form, yours could differ.

Suffice to say, that there may be conditional clause(s) in
your insurance coverage that specifically pertain to your
visit/presence in Mexico. I suppose this could also be
true of any other insurance coverage, like medical.

I never read these things, and I'm not likely to be visiting
in Mexico. But, might wanna' grab a quick read to under-
stand any surprise exposure(s), while there.

You wouldn't want us to have organize a txmoto posse'
to come bail you out of a delicate situation. <g>

There was quite a bit of discussion about this insurance topic.. on and
offline.. amongst all of us who made that trip down in Mexico..

During the permit and visa process at immigration in Mexico, there are
several Mexican insurance companies that are set up in the immigration
facility.. Most American insurance companies do not represent coverage in
another country.. Anyone who wants full coverage while there will need to
purchase the trip coverage from a company that is recognized in Mexico..

One has to also realize that some of the rules change dramatically..
Lawsuits are not a rule of thumb and they just don't sue each other, as we
do in the U.S. Regards...

crusade against Mexico, about a week before we left.. While a few of us were
planning the trip, you were busy trying to Google up all the horseshit that
you have plastered this newsgroup with.. Every bit of the usenet crap that

finally come to light that your only real experience in Mexico turns out to
be a visit to Zona Roja in a border town, where a Mexican whore evidently
skinned you.. The police gave you directions back to the border and more
than likely a couple of the Mexicans roughed you up for harassing the whore
in the first place... LOL.. Best advice for you is to stay the hell out of
that country.. those Mexicans don't tolerate trash like you ..

Thought I'd made all that clear.. Every family that we visited with, is no
more than working people who try to make a living and provide for their
families.. I chose the route to Guadalajara with everyone on the ride,
having the option to deviate from it, if they saw something they'd like to
look at closer.. When it was time to return home, the other guys picked the
route back.. We passed through hundreds of small towns and communties..
stopped in quite a few of them, for gasolene and food.. Never did see any of
the outrageous atrocities that you have been describing in your ridiculous
comments and links..

Sure .. there are some areas in that country that have poor people.. we were
amongst them, most of the time we were there.. If you get off your fatass
and take a look around you, you'll find areas in our country that are the
poorest of the poor.. Pretty close to where you live, I'd imagine..

The best travel tips for Mexico is 1. Don't go starting shit. 2. Don't
go where you have no business being. 3. Carry plenty of pesos because
all your friends run out and all of a sudden you are the friggin bank.
