    no dickhead

constant loss is often referred to in racing circles where they run from a
    battery
and have no stator to generate power , hence it is a constant loss system

The best thing about the past is it's gone :) I don't miss Fido...

On the plus side though you had to be semi technically literate to get
onto a BBS, unlike the internet (and hence news) nowadays.

    r> Which BBS's?

I ran a Remote Access BBS for a couple of weeks, a PowerBBS for a couple of months, an Excalibur BBS for several years and an Innerworld OCS BBS for about a year (like Excalibur but 32 bit code). I enjoyed the Excalibur one the most (it was a pre-cursor to todays web browser) because it had a killer Scrabble door.

Oh, now that brings back memories. I remember trying OS/2 for about a week then decided on the MS road (because I got it free from work and knew updates would also be free *wink, wink, nudge, nudge * lol).

OK, Looked again. That was the bit you deleted from the post you were
    replying to.

In all these years of surfing the web, (since before it existed, it
seems) one eould expect you to have absorbed at least the rudiments of
    posting to usenet.

    Dolt!

I haven't shaved for 11 years. Do a monthly trim though to keep the mo out
    of my teeth.
