Rear camera mount anybody ?

  2. Does the elastic band hold the camera securely enough?

    One thing I learned from my GoKart days, is that if you can use your full
    arm and leg strength to wrestle something loose from the kart, then, it
    *might* not fall off on the track.

    If you CAN work something loose with your own strength, then it's guaranteed
    to fall off within the first lap.

    The bike is *mildly* more forgiving, but certainly nothing like a car, where
    people can get away with using "beanbag" mounts to hold their satnavs to the dash.

    The road is unforgiving, and unless everything is bolted down, it's going to
    go for a walk when you least want it to.

    John: The camera is secured onto the bracket with a small bolt (It is
    not pictured, as it is screwed at the base of the bracket). This bolt
    would probably be enough, however, I like to over engineering
    things ;). I've done about 20 hours riding with this mount. So far
    so good ;)

    Johno: A copper told me to wash the black shit off my plate. So I
    did.
