Ready to Roll Again

The mighty Green One sits there.. Right there on that patio.. Even though it
is well covered and protected from the elements, you can almost hear the
sighs of discontent.. That sucker is ready to embark on the next adventure..

The chrome is all shined .. fresh oil in the crankcase.. All the gunk and
slime from chain lube has been cleaned and the filters have been blown out
and cleared.. Final detail of another wax job along with some engine detail
thrown in, should complete the job

It is still a couple of months till July and there will undoubtedly be some
day runs between now and then, but that Green giant amongst giants is ready
to roll..

Meantime.. the beat goes on and the Mexican is planning a dress making trip
to Guadalajara within the next two or three weeks.. hmmm.. Odds are.. she
will fly.. Her talents for dress making will be in demand and the wedding
dress that she is designing for that gorgeous niece of ours should be a
sight to behold..

The anticipations for that July wedding are increasingly rising to fever
pitch .. I've assured one and all that barring an act of God, me and the
Green One will be there.. Again.. expectations for that ride are higher than
usual.. The Bikers in Guadalajara will surely turn out for this one.. El
Negine is almost as excited as I am, about this one.. He's also been
privileged to watch this beautiful child develop into a vision of womanly
beauty..

The good doctor who has recently become involved in the motorcycling
community in that area will have taken delivery on that new Harley, by the
time this wedding takes place.. He'll number amongst the "escorts" that will
accompany the wedding procession.. That new Harley should look pretty good
beside the Green Machine and all it's scars of character that symbolize more
than nine years of reliable service to me..

The Green One is ready to roll and anxious to begin.. Me too....... Regards

I hate to fly when I go to Mexico.. Favorite way to travel down there is on
a motorcycle.. Don't have to mess with all that airport security..

We had a wonderful trip and I believe everyone sure had a good time..

The price you pay for all that prominence is too high for all us old retired
hands.. lol... Just say "no".. <grin>
