    Oh you ****!

I was *this* close to buying one of them when I was 17.

I do not have room for another bike in the garage.

Heh. I had one when I was 17. It ended up blowing the engine in a
    spectacular fashion.

One of the gearbox mainshaft bearings collapsed (at the clutch side),
causing the sprocket end bearing to collapse and then the mainshaft to
chew through the oil seal and the crankcasing.

I was riding down the middle of a road at the time (30 zone lots of
traffic) and it felt like it seized. So I whipped the clutch in.
Didn't help. I slid to a stop and somehow willed it to avoid hitting
any traffic. I then got off to push it to the side of the road and the
combination of a seized solid gearbox and the oil spilt from the gearbox
had me falling arse over tit *once I got off the bike*.

Ehhh... that were a proper bike.

    *chuckle*
    Mine too.

I've been trying to find piccies of mine, but my photo
filing technique was a bit lax when I was 17, so can't
    find any.

You want the RS version if you need a continent crushing tourer. Which
reminds me I must get off my arse, sort the bike out and stick it on E-Bay
    as a classic.
