RD shakedown

  1. After the crank bearing collapsed last year, I rebuilt the engine and
ran it up to temp twice through Feb/March. Saturday was the first day it
went on the road. Started first kick, which was nice, left it warming up
    and put on jacket/helmet.

Get on bike, and got oooh I dunno, about 53 feet before it went onto one
cylinder. Pootled along around the block with 2nd cylinder
intermittently cutting in. Was very worried, had I broken something.

The 53 feet should have been the clue, spark plug had gone. First time
it's happened to me, and it's only about 1000 miles old. Swapped it with
another one and bingo, sorted :)

Spent the rest of the day tootling round the countryside on the newly
sorted B6, Laura came along for her first ride in over a year. God those
bikes are boring, I can't see that being in the garage much longer.
