I don't claim to be discerning but I *do* use WebAlbum. Had to
handcode the CSS sheets though to get my background.

Whoops - what happened?

 

Started overtaking a couple of cars when the one in front turned
right, across me into a private driveway. I don't recall seeing an
indicator but I am sticking my hand up to poor observation /
anticipation [3].

I braked hard, lost the front and the bike hit the car on the
rear-bumper a couple of feet in from the offside. I was thrown clear
and surfed the tarmac to an uneventual stop without hitting anything
significant [1]. A bruised toe [2] and some minor bruising to the
shoulders.

It was on the Bicester to Thame road coming out of the left-hander
(just after the railway crossing) onto the straight with the dips at
the end. The driveway was for a kennels/cattery which I never knew
was there even though I have ridden that road many times.

[1] The helmet tapped the road a couple of times.

[2] I have the toenail if you are interested.

[3] As indeed does the car-driver "SMIDSY" he said.
