Has anyone else had a problem with these bikes rattling for 20-30
sec's if started with a hot engine.
The engine sounds pretty smooth when started from cold, but if I
stop the engine briefly mid journey I get this noise for a short time.

Could this be the camchain tensioner problem I've heard these bikes
    suffer from?

    Thanks David

And is it just a case of unbolting the old tensioner and fitting the
new one, or is there more to it than that? I mean does it need to be
    primed with engine oil first.

    Thx David

    Hey Dave.
You can buy manual cam chain tensioners from APE. They replace the
hydraulic one that comes from Honda. They simply swap in and then you
tighten them to remove the noise. It seems weird that the cam chain would
only rattle when hot. Mine rattles when cold.

Yeah, thats what I don't understand, start from cold and it's fine.
maybe it's the oil thinning out when it gets hot and affecting the
    hydraulic tensioner.

    Thanks David
