  1. Splendid stuff. Especially the sheep.

Eh? Should I (at least once), dig my own potatoes and pick my own
    mushrooms too?

    And what about the wine?

If you post some pictures of you in that costume, some of us might.

I think I'd rather have rats than dogs generally, to be honest.

  6. I was going through East Grinstead a few years ago, on my Trophy, with
one of my nephews on the pillion. The road was the old railway cutting
that bypasses the town centre. And this deer just broke cover and dashed
    across the road

    like *THAT*

There wasn't even time to react. It was past the front wheel and gone
before I had a chance to hit a lever. I sweat I ruffled its hair. SHook
me up a tad, I can tell you.

He does but only until he's had a few beers.

Had it happen twice on bikes, once on a shite on triumph where I was a
yoof and it was very foggy and I possibly slightly pissed so it was
all a bit surreal as the deer invaded my space. There was another
occasion a few years ago and how I didn't hit it I don't know, only
because there'd been several speed traps and I had the eldest with was
I traveling much slower than was usual on that particular road.

One of the girls from the SV forum did the same on her SV last year on
a big rideout. No real damage to the bike and she stayed on, but the
deer was written off due to uneconomical repair.

I finally caught my resident mouse, via standard trap.
They say if you think you`ve got a mouse in the house, you`ve actually got a
    whole swarm of `em.
Well I`ve seen no sign of any more.... yet....

The way around that, is to have a pet rat. Mice hate rats and steer well clear
of them. They'll also steer clear of the house.

I used to have a 40Kg bag of rat/mouse/hamster food in my place in Brixton
and it was _never_ touched by anything/one but me.

  18. Same here. Bought an extremely violent traditional trap when we had
mice. Heard it go off within 10 mins of setting it. The other mouse
I'd taken outside in the cushion it had nested in and stamped on it
    many times for good measure.
Same here - no more of the cute little fuckers.

Shhh. Don't tell Nige. He probably thinks it's magic that lets Mickey Mouse
be in different parts of Eurodisney at the same time.
