TBH I prefer my CBR's fully clothed. Having said that is does have a
certain amount of 'presence' and those pipes sound nice plus it seems a
bit quicker than a standard CBR now. Riding it's odd, same position as
mine but **** me its windy and noisy out there. Needs mirrors though,
    and brakes.

    You are utterly insane.

Please would you let me know when you next visit Box Hill.
Several dozen power rangers falling off their bikes, stalling
and forgetting to hit the brakes would make excellent vid
    material.

Much like I don't need to physically smell or eat a lump of shit, to know
it's not likely to be as tasty as the food stuffs that went into its
    inception, I should think.
Like I said, plenty of crap available from a salvage dealers etc., more
deserving of that sort of treatment.

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, JackH
It wouldn't be my first choice of bike, but it's W.C's bike, and his
call as to what to do with it.

And the look on his face as Pip sliced into the end can with an angle
grinder was that of a kid at christmas.

I'm not trolling, you miserable old ****, merely expressing an opinion, of
    which others have agreed.

That looked like a very good nick CBR1000 in the first pic listed, did it
    not?

Seems a shame to ruin a cosmetically good bike, for the sake of ruining it,
or are you saying there aren't hundreds of bikes that need cosmetic
attention for sale in the back of MCN every week?

Like I said, his bike, his money... I know what I'd have done in the same
position, if I really wanted a ratbike.

Mind your English, fool. How many more times do you want to restate
your opinion? You and SteveH sound like clones.
It did when I saw it in the flesh, so to speak.
Did I suggest that? I forget, remiss, I know. Show me where I said
    that, Jack.
Exactly. He wanted to do something, so he did it. He asked for a
hand and assistance was given. What is your problem? Jealousy?

    Erm, no!

It's good that you helped, and I think you've taken my comments about the
    bike personally, to be honest.

Read back... I personally don't think I couldn't do that to a bike that I
owned in that good a shape, ok.

His mileage obviously varied, fair play to him - I expressed a personal
opinion, (as people tend to do in forums) on the bike, and got labelled a
    troll for doing so!

What is *your* problem, with that?

)) That would get a reaction of two I'd bet, rather like it got
    reactions at Pixiefest.

Personally, I really like it. It's so much more than the sum of the
    parts it's lost.
